Phil Bardsley

Phillip Bardsley (born June 28, 1985 in Salford, Greater Manchester) is an English footballer. He currently plays for Manchester United. He is a defender and has occasionally been included in United's Champions League and Carling Cup squads. In 2004 he spent four months on loan to United's Belgian feeder club Royal Antwerp.

He has had his chance in the first team line up at the start of the 2005/06 season because of injuries to Gary Neville amongst others and has impressed many in the footballing community.

His Brother Josh currently attends Prestwich high school, at the age of 12 , he is tipped to become a big star.
