United have agreed terms with Carrick who is set to be unveiled later this week in a press conference. The sum is supposed to be 18.6 comprised of several add-ons as well as a down payment. Sir Alex will be hoping to also unveil Marcos Senna. Although Man Utd have apparently lowered their bid to half of the 10m euros Villareal want and the deal is now in danger of collapsing. Tevez rumours have ground to a halt also. Watch this space. |

The same newspaper that broke the Ruud news first now say United are close to signing Marcos Senna a 30 year old defensive midfielder. The cost will be about £6.7m or 10m euros. |

Some reaction from the fans on the FMU Forum On the Ruud to Madrid rumour: the worst part for me is the installments. if we dont receive the money right now we wont be able to sign a replacement. Its a terrible deal, more concerning because Rossi doesnt look ready for such a high call, to replace ruud. Imagine, and it doesnt take a great amount of imagination, that saha is injured for 3 months. Who is going to partner rooney for the first part of the league and the start of the CL? smith? we will struggle to score goals.
