Front Row Seats

  Well, almost. To be more precise I witnessed United’s Carling Cup semi-final victory against Derby from the second row of Old Trafford’s South Stand.  A fantastic seat to catch the first glimpse of new signing Zoran Tosic warm up along the touchline right in front of me, as well as a more familiar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spurs tamed as the Reds go marching on
match reportAfter going a goal down within 5 minutes it looked like United were going to have to do it the hard way although it turned out once they got the lead Spurs were happy to let United pass it around until the final whistle. The equaliser was slightly fortuitious through a deflected Scholes shot but no such complaints could be levelled at the next goal marvelous first time pass by Carrick culminated in Berbatov slotting home the winning goal against his old side.
